Charged my card $19.95 without my knowing. Said I subscribed through
classmates.com. Total BS. They said I signed up for a $10.00 rebate and never canceled by subscription. Why would i cancel when I was not aware of signing up?Told my
credit card company they would give me credit for last charge. We will see. Do not recall even accessing
classmates.com on 04/28/09. See others complaining about annualcreditreport.com and was on their website on 04/28/09.
Credit card company should issue credit. This is a true number one scam. Anyone else have complaints?

Just the same sh*t here too. First a 19.95 charge and then 24.95 charge. I called the number that appeared on my bank statement, and cancelled over their phone system. However, I am going to tell my bank to not allow any withdrawals from these rip off artists any more. On the phone they said that I initiated my account with them by clicking on a banner on a website to save $10. Holy sh*t, I've never been so ripped off in my life. This little bit of many isn't going to sink my ship, but I really am mad and I can imagine that this is a lot of money to people who don't make all that much...

I also got charged $19.95 for this service, after calling the company they said that I clicked on a rebate on classmates.com- I told them I never signed up for a rebate, and she said there was a banner- If I clicked on the banner it was by accident... I did log on to classmates.com and tried a free trial memebership- unknownly apparently signed up for this.. I guess privacy doesn't matter for them, because they are stealing people's information- they said they were going to refund my money, I hope so

We just discovered a $19.95 charge and a $24.95 charge on our credit card. We never authorized either one. We also use Classmates.com and if Privacy Matters got our card number from Classmates.com they are going to get sued big time. Why isn't someone going after Privacy Matters?
