Now privacy matters says it is going to refund the 2 months he was charged (approx 40.00 total).
He is also going to cancel his classmates.com membership!!!!
I will be calling back and reporting this scam to my credit card also.
Is there no end to fraud!!!!!

| 1. Written by billhawkins on January 6, 2010 from new york, new york, US Yes they got us too. Wife signed up for Classmates and boom, 2 charges for Privacy Matters for $19.95. I called PM and complained. They were very nasty. A few days later, the charges were removed, but here were 2 new charges on our card! Apparently this is $19.95 per month twice!. I asked Amex to undo the charges and to block these people from issuing new charges. PM is supposed to prevent identity fraud. We need protection from them!!! COMPLAIN TO CLASSMATES.COM!!!! |
