My wife signed up for a gold account at Classmates.com and was automatically enrolled in this Privacy Matters 123 service. We have been billed for the last three months. I called the number and entered my phone number which was not valid as well. There's no way in *** I'm entering in a cc number so I start hitting buttons on the keypad of my phone. I believe that if you hit the # symbol, you will go to customer service. When customer service answers the phone, immediately ask to speak to a supervisor. They will transfer you. Check your bank statements and see how far the charges go. Mine went three months. They will then tell you that they will reverse the charges, give you a confirmation code and tell you the name of the supervisor. Write all of this down. I'm going to be checking my account daily until the charges are reversed. I'm going to give them a week. If they aren't reversed, I'm going to do the same thing, but then contact the Better Business Bureau and file a complaint. Hope this info helps. |
